Solving the Autoimmunity Puzzle
Led by the team at Caring for the Body, PLLC – Center for Functional Medicine
Dr. Cynthia Libert, MD · Kamila Fiore, APRN-C · Debra Mercer
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

What if the fatigue, brain fog, and unexplained symptoms you've been living with are all part of the same deeper story?

Do you struggle with fatigue, brain fog, inflammation, digestive symptoms, anxiety, skin issues, chronic stress, thyroid dysfunction, unexplained symptoms, or a lingering sense that "something deeper is going on" in your body? You are not alone.
Autoimmune and inflammatory conditions are becoming increasingly common, yet many people spend years searching for answers while feeling unheard, dismissed, or reduced to a diagnosis and prescription.
At Caring for the Body, we believe there is often a deeper story beneath autoimmune illness — one that involves the interconnected health of the immune system, gut, nervous system, hormones, environment, lifestyle, stress response, and emotional well-being.
Join us for a warm and intimate evening of conversation as our team explores autoimmunity through the lens of functional medicine and whole-person healing. This will not be a formal lecture or sales presentation. Instead, we hope to create a meaningful and welcoming space where people feel seen, understood, and encouraged.
What We'll Discuss
Together, our team will explore:
01
Why autoimmune illness is rarely "just one thing"
02
The relationship between chronic inflammation, stress, gut health, mold exposure, toxins, hormones, and immune dysfunction
03
Why symptoms like fatigue, pain, brain fog, anxiety, and digestive issues are frequently interconnected
04
The role of nutrition, sleep, nervous system regulation, movement, and lifestyle medicine in healing
05
How a team-based functional medicine approach can help patients feel supported and empowered

Why This Conversation Matters
Autoimmune and inflammatory conditions affect millions of people, yet the path to answers is often long, fragmented, and discouraging. Many patients move from specialist to specialist, receiving separate labels for symptoms that may share common underlying drivers.
Functional medicine does not replace conventional medicine. Rather, it seeks to complement traditional care by exploring potential root contributors and supporting the body's innate capacity for healing through a personalized, comprehensive approach.
Most importantly, we want attendees to leave with hope. Whether you have a diagnosed autoimmune condition, suspect underlying inflammation may be contributing to your symptoms, or simply want to better understand your body, we would love to have you join us.
This evening is especially relevant for those interested in:
Autoimmune and Inflammatory Conditions
Gut Health and Immune Function
Chronic Fatigue and Brain Fog
Thyroid and Hormone Health
Stress and Nervous System Regulation
Environmental Exposures and Toxins
Functional Medicine and Root-Cause Approaches
